Several reports have claimed that the next Redmi phone for the Chinese market will be dubbed the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. Last week, Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset. Soon after, Redmi released an official confirmation that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will come equipped with the new chip. Today, Redmi confirmed that the said smartphone will be unveiled at 7 pm (local time) on March 28 in China.
Redmi Note 12 Turbo Specifications
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo is expected to arrive with a 6.67-inch OLED panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. For security, it is expected to feature an under-display fingerprint scanner.
The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2-powered device is expected to ship with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The handset will run on Android 13 OS with the MIUI 14 layer on top.
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo will have a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. On the back, it will feature a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It will be equipped with a 5,500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.
Reports have revealed that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will be rebranded as the POCO F5 5G in the global market.
