Redmi released a poster to confirm that it will announce a new Redmi Note 12-series phone called the Redmi Note 12R Pro on April 29 in China. It will be a new addition to the Note 12 family, which already includes members like Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Pro+, Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition, and Redmi Note 12 Turbo.
The company has revealed that the Redmi Note 12R Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset. It will have a 120Hz refresh rate supporting display, which appears to be the same 6.67-inch AMOLED panel available on the other Redmi Note 12 series phone.
The Note 12R Pro will offer users with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. A closer look at the poster reveals that the device is equipped with a 48-megapixel dual-camera system with LED flash on the back. It will arrive in three colors, such as black, white, and beige.
The rest of the specifications of the Redmi Note 12R Pro are yet to be revealed. The moniker of the device suggests that the lineup may also include a phone called Redmi Note 12R, which may arrive at a later date.
