Last week, Redmi announced that the Turbo 3 smartphone would be the first entry in its new performance-focused midrange lineup. Redmi has now confirmed that the phone will launch in China on April 10.
The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 will power the Redmi Turbo 3, a flagship killer smartphone. The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset shares the same architecture as the regular 8 Gen 3, albeit with slightly different CPU cores and lower clock speeds.
The Turbo 3 will come with up to a whopping 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. The phone will also feature an advanced ice-cooling system to ensure optimal performance during intense gaming sessions. Thanks to the Furty Engine 3.0, the Redmi Turbo 3 can render games at 1.5 K resolution, making it an excellent option for gamers.
In Redmi’s internal testing, the phone scored over 1.75 million points on the Antutu V10 benchmark. The Redmi Turbo 3 will weigh 179 grams and measure 7.8mm in thickness. Redmi’s posters show the phone with flat frames and rounded corners. For the triple-camera setup, the rear shell of the device features three circular rings.
The volume rocker and the power button are placed on the right frame. The top panel has a speaker grille, an IR blaster, and a microphone. The actual screen size is unknown, but it will boast 1.5K resolution, 2400 nits of peak brightness, and support for 68.7 billion colors.
The Redmi Turbo 3 will mark the debut of the innovative Xiaomi QIngshan Eye Protection White Paper 1.0, a new eye protection standard devised in collaboration with six prestigious institutions and universities, setting a new standard in smartphone eye protection.
