Save the date: Vivo V50e is launching on April 10

In March, Vivo unveiled the Vivo V50 as the first V-series phone. The brand recently announced the V50 Lite (4G) and V50 Lite (5G) later in the same month. Today, the brand released an official confirmation that it will unveil the Vivo V50e on April 10 in India.

The Vivo V50e will be positioned lower than the Vivo V50 in the Indian market. This indicates that the V50e may arrive with a sub-Rs 30,000 ($350) price tag in the country.

The V50e’s microsite, available on Amazon India, reveals that it will feature a quad-curved AMOLED panel. For selfies, the device will feature a 50-megapixel front-facing camera with eye-autofocus support.

On the back, the V50e will feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX822 primary camera with OIS support. It will be able to capture shots at 1x, 1.5x, and 2x with focal lengths of 26mm, 39mm, and 52mm, respectively. The primary sensor will be accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 116-degree FOV. The front and rear cameras will be capable of shooting 4K videos.

The microsite also confirms that the Vivo V50e will be a durable device, as it will arrive with IP68/69-rated dust and water resistance and Diamond Shield Glass protection for the display.

Rumours are rife that the V50e will feature a Dimensity 7300 chipset and a 5,600mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. It will arrive in two shades: Sapphire Blue and Pearl White. It is likely that the device will be available in two configurations: 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB.
