After a few days of teasing, Vivo has officially confirmed that the Vivo V70 series will be unveiled on Feb. 19 in India. The updated microsite available on the company’s official website has revealed several details about the Vivo V70 and V70 Elite. Here’s a look at what to expect from both phones.
Vivo V70 series specifications

The Vivo V70 Elite is confirmed to feature a 6.59-inch OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The standard model could be equipped with the same display.
The V70 and V70 Elite are powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and 8s Gen 3 chipsets, respectively. The Elite model is also confirmed to feature LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Both models may ship with a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging support.
OriginOS 6-based Android 16 will come preloaded on both models. Both devices are also confirmed to receive four years of OS upgrades and six years of security updates.

The V70 Elite has a 50-megapixel front camera with autofocus support. Its back panel has a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide snapper, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The series also features an aluminium alloy frame and an IP68/69-rated body.
Vivo V70 series colour options, price
The Vivo V70 series is expected to arrive with 8GB / 12GB of RAM and 256GB / 512GB of storage. The vanilla model will come in colours like Passion Red, Sand Beige, and Authentic Black, whereas the Elite edition will be available in shades such as Passion Red and Lemon Yellow. The series is expected to cost around Rs 50,000 ($555) in India.
