Save the date: Vivo X100 series is launching on November 13

After teasing the arrival of the Vivo X100 series of smartphones for the past few days, the brand has officially confirmed its launch date. On Nov. 13 at 7 pm (local time), it will take off covers from the Vivo X100 series of smartphones. In addition, the brand will also unveil the Vivo Watch 3 smartwatch.

The Vivo X100 and X100 Pro will be the first smartphones to come equipped with the Dimensity 9300 chipset, which is yet to go official. MediaTek recently confirmed that it will hold a launch event on Nov. 6, and it is speculated that the Taiwanese chip maker may announce the D9300 chip.

The Vivo X100 and X100 Pro will be the first smartphones in the world to feature the latest LPDDRT5 RAM technology. The X100 bearing model number V2309A was recently spotted on AnTuTu with a 120Hz screen, OriginOS 4-based Android 14, 16 GB of LPDDR5T RAM, 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and a D9300 chip with a stupendous benchmarking score of 2,249,858. Coming to the Vivo Watch 3, the company confirmed that it will come preloaded with its self-developed OS, named Blue OS, which has been built using the Rust programming language. The OS, specially designed for Vivo’s IoT products, will have its own app store and support generative AI for creating unlimited watch faces.

Unfortunately, Vivo has not confirmed the key specifications of the Watch 3. What’s known is that it will come with support for connectivity features such as NFC and eSIM.
