Vivo has confirmed that it will unveil the Vivo Y100 5G smartphone in China on October 27. The company announced the Vivo Y100 5G with the Dimensity 900 chip in India around six months ago. The official poster released by Vivo reveals that the Chinese variant may differ from the Vivo Y100 available in India.
Vivo Y100 design
The official poster shows the Vivo Y100 in blue and green color options. Another image available on Vivo China’s official website reveals that the device has a curved-edge display with a centrally positioned punch-hole.
The device appears to be equipped with an AMOLED display with an integrated fingerprint sensor. The rear panel of the Vivo Y100 has a dual-camera setup with an LED flash.
At present, there is no official word about the specifications of the Vivo Y100. Meanwhile, the brand is currently receiving reservations for the device through its official website.
Recently, a Vivo phone with a V2313A model number and a design similar to what’s shown above in the official images was approved by the TENAA authority. Hence, it appears that the V2313A may break cover as the Y100.
While the images of the V2313A are available in TENAA’s database, its specifications are not known yet. The device has also passed the 3C certification in China. This certification has revealed that it may arrive with support for 44W fast charging.
