Xiaomi recently confirmed that it will hold a launch event on April 18. At the event, the company will announce the Xiaomi 13 Ultra flagship phone for the global and Chinese markets. The company has now also confirmed that it will unveil the Xiaomi Pad 6 series of tablets and the Band 8 fitness tracker at the same event.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 series’ can be seen spotting a design similar to the Xiaomi 13 lineup. It appears that the Pad 6 / Pad 6 Pro will be the first-ever tablet to sport a 50-megapixel main camera. At present, there is no information on the auxiliary camera of the device.
The Pad 6 series poster shows the tablet sporting thin bezels. It will arrive with support for accessories, such as a magnetic keyboard with NFC support and a stylus. The tablet is said to arrive with a USB 3.0 standard port and seems to be equipped with quad speakers.
The Pad 6 series will arrive in three colors, such as black, biege, and blue. It is said that the Pad 6 will come equipped with an 11-inch LCD screen that produces a 2.8K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is likely to feature the Snapdragon 870 chipset and house an 8,840mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
The Pro model may arrive with an 11-inch AMOLED screen that offers a 2.8K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset and is said to support 67W fast charging.
Nothing much is known about the specifications of the Xiaomi Band 8. The image reveals the fitness tracker will arrive with an attractive number of band choices.
