Xiaomi recently confirmed that its next launch event will be held on August 14 in China. The event will be hosted by Xiaomi founder and CEO Lei Jun. The company has already confirmed that it will announce the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 and the Redmi K60 Ultra at the upcoming event. Today, the brand also confirmed that the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max and Xiaomi Band 8 Pro will also be launched at the same event.
Xiaomi has confirmed that the Pad 6 Max will come equipped with a 14-inch display, making it the company’s largest-ever tablet. The tablet is expected to be a larger version of the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro and is rumored to feature a 14-inch LCD panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, and a large battery.
The Pad 6 Max is also expected to have a 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera system on the back and a 20-megapixel front camera. The device is said to support 67W fast charging. Like the Pad 6 Pro, the Max model may ship with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Xiaomi has yet to confirm the details of the Band 8 Pro. The Band 8, which debuted in April this year, came equipped with a capsule-like display. The above poster shows that the Band 8 Pro would be more like a smartwatch. The company is yet to reveal the specifications of the device
