Earlier this month, Sharp took the wrap off their latest Sharp Aquos S2 flagship which impressed the world with its unique ‘tri-benzel’ design and notable specs. Right now, it seems like the Japanese company’s hard work had been paid off as the device was sold out in China in less than 24 hours after it went on sale on August 14th.
The Aquos S2 is priced at 2,499 Yuan ($374) for the 4GB+64GB base model and will go on sale again two days later on August 16th. If you’re interested, some of the device’s key specs include a 5.5″ display with 1080×2040 pixels screen resolution, Snapdragon 630 SoC, 12MP+8MP main snapper, 8MP front-facing selfie cam, fingerprint sensor, 3,020mAh non-removable battery, as well as Android 7.1.1 Nougat running out of the box.
Currently, only the Black and White models are available for purchase in the Chinese market.
