Besides launching the Sony Xperia 1 III and Xperia 5 III duo, Sony had also introduced a brand new mid-ranger smartphone known as the Xperia 10 III during today’s launch event.
This device builds around a 6” OLED display which arrives with a FHD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate. HDR10 support, as well as an 8 megapixels selfie camera. Just like the rest of the Xperia Mark 3 series devices, the Xperia 10 III also adopts a 21:9 aspect ratio for its front display.
Over at the back, the Xperia 10 III brings along a triple-camera setup housed within an elongated camera island. These cameras include a 12 megapixels main camera, an 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, as well as an 8 megapixels telephoto camera.
Under the hood, the device is powered by a 5G-ready Snapdragon 690 chipset which is paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.
Moving on, the Xperia 10 III is also backed by a 4,500mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. To deliver a more immersive audio experience for its users, the device features full-stage stereo speakers which are positioned at the front of the device.
Other than that, there’s also a 3.5mm headphone jack, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, as well as IP65/ 68 rating for dust and water resistance. For those who’re interested, the Xperia 10 III is available in four different color options including Black, White, Blue and Pink.
At the moment, its official pricing and availability has not been announced although Sony do revealed that the phone will be available in early summer.
