Sony is expected to announce the Xperia 3 flagship phone in the first quarter of 2020. Since it is a 2020 flagship phone, it is likely to feature the Snapdragon 865 mobile platform. The alleged phone has appeared with its model number PM-1310 on Geekbench benchmarking platform.
The Geekbench listing of PM-1310 smartphone has revealed it is powered by a processor that is mentioned as Kona. Past reports have revealed that Kona is the codename of the Snapdragon 865 mobile platform. The processor that powers the PM-1310 phone has a base frequency of 1.8GHz. The SOC is coupled with 12 GB of RAM and the phone is loaded with Android 10 OS. In the single-core test, the device has scored 4261 points. It has recorded 13,422 points in the multi-core test.
The PM-1310 model number can be seen with other model numbers such as PM-1311, PM-1312 and PM-1313 in the UAProf listing. It is speculated that the top variant of the alleged Xperia 3 phone could be arriving with support for 5G connectivity. The phone is expected to arrive with support for quad HD+ resolution. A past report had revealed that the Sony Xperia 3 will be arriving with as many as six rear-facing cameras. As it can be seen in the above image, the Xperia 3 has a 48-megapixle main lens, a 20-megapixel lens with f/1.2 and f/2.4 variable aperture, a 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture, an 8-megapixel f/2.4 aperture lens, a 12-megapixel lens with variable aperture of f/1.2 and f/2.4 and a 3D ToF lens.
