The highly-anticipated Sony Xperia 5 II will be making its grand debut on September 17th next month. As usual, most of the device’s key specs and even its official renders had already been leaked way ahead of its scheduled launch date.
Right now, the folks over at Android Headlines has managed to get hold of its official promo video which elegantly shows off the device in various angles. Once again, several key features including the presence of a glass back, Zeiss-branded rear camera lens, 3.5mm headphone jack and a dedicated camera shutter key were revealed in the minute-long promo video.
Based on what we’d learned so far, the Sony Xperia 5 II is expected to arrive with a 6.1-inches OLED panel which boasts a FHD+ screen resolution and the usual 21:9 tall aspect ratio. On top of that, it also supports a buttery-smmoth 120Hz refresh rare and a 240Hz touch sampling rate as well.
Over at the back, its triple-cameras system is said to include a 12 megapixels (f/1.7 aperture) primary shooter, 12 megapixels (f/2.4 aperture) telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, as well as a 12 megapixels ultra-wide lens offering 124-degree field-of-view. More notably, the 3D ToF sensor will be omitted on the Xperia 5 II this time round.
Under the hood, the device will be driven by the flagship Snapdragon 865 platform coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. To keep its light on, it is fitted with a respectable 4,000mAh battery which carries support for USB-PD fast charging.
