Sony is likely to announce new phones at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 in the next month. It is expected to unveil the Sony Xperia XA2, Xperia XA2 Ultra and Xperia L2 smartphones. Well-known tipster Evan Blass has revealed fresh renders of these phones.
Sony Xperia XA2 and Xperia XA2 Ultra
The specifications of the Sony Xperia XA2 and Xperia XA2 Ultra have already appeared on GFXBench benchmarking site. The Xperia XA1 and Xperia XA1 Ultra were driven by MediaTek chipsets. However, their successor models will be powered by Snapdragon 630. The Xperia XA2 show above will be coming with a 5.2-inch FHD display whereas the Xperia XA2 Ultra shown below will be arriving with a massive 6-inch FHD screen.
The Xperia XA2 has 4 GB RAM + 32 GB storage and the XA2 Ultra has 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage. The XA2 has a 21-megapixel rear camera and 7-megapixel front camera. The larger model has the same rear camera and a pair 15-megapixel front camera.
Sony Xperia L2
The Xperia L2 has a 5.2-inch display that supports HD resolution. Unlike the Xperia XA2 duo that will be arriving preloaded with Android 8.0 Oreo, the L2 will be coming with Android Nougat.
The design of the above Sony phones is quite similar to its current smartphones. However, the Japanese tech giant may launch a flagship phone with full screen design.
