Sony has confirmed that their latest Xperia XZ flagship will be launched in China on September 26th, although they have yet to reveal if the company will be holding any press event for the launch. While we’re not sure how accurate this is, but reports out of China had confirmed that the device will go on sale on the launch day itself.
The Xperia XZ which made its debut during the IFA event on September 1st, is already up for pre-order via Amazon in the UK. In the US, Sony had also listed the Xperia XZ as coming soon along with the Xperia X Compact sounterpart which was also announced during the IFA.
While the new flagship is tagged with a hefty price of £599.99 ($800) in the UK, the same device is rumored to cost just RMB4,988 ($746) in China. If nothing goes wrong, it is possible for China to be the first market to begin selling the Xperia XZ.
