Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium Launched in China; Pre-orders Begin on July 2

Around two months ago, Sony had unveiled the Sony Xperia XZ2 flagship phone in China with a price tag of 5,999 Yuan ($963). Today, the Japanese tech giant has launched the Xperia XZ2 Premium smartphone in the country.

The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features an IP68 certified dustproof and waterproof chassis. It features a 5.8-inch display that supports 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. The Snapdragon 845 chipset powers the phone along with 6 GB of RAM. It has an inbuilt storage of 64 GB. For additional storage, it features a microSD card slot.

The Motion Eye dual camera module includes a 19-megapixel primary sensor and a 12-megapixel secondary sensor. For snapping selfies, it houses a front-facing camera of 13-megapixel. The handset is fueled by 3,540mAh battery. Apart from fast charging, the Xperia XZ2 Premium offers its user with wireless charging feature. Like the international variant, the XZ2 Premium for China comes in Chrome Black and Chrome Silver color editions.

Sony is yet to confirm on the pricing of the Xperia XZ2 Premium. The company has only confirmed that the pre-sale of the phone will begin on July 2.
