TCL has announced a new budget-friendly smartphone known as the TCL 205 in the European markets where the phone carries an affordable starting price of just around 100 Euro (US$114).
The TCL 205 builds around a 6.22” IPS LCD display that offers a HD+ screen resolution as well as a 19:9 tall aspect ratio. For selfie and video calls, there’s also a 5 megapixels front-facing camera that’s housed within a waterdrop-notch.
On the rear side of the phone, it comes with a rectangular camera bump which features a dual-cam setup comprising of a 13 megapixels main camera and a 2 megapixels depth sensor to help with portrait shots.
The device is powered by an octa-core Unisoc SC9863A chipset along with 2GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage which can be further expanded by up to 128GB via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the TCL 205 draws power from a modest 4,000mAh battery. As with any other entry-level smartphones, the TCL 205 will be shipped with Android 11 Go Edition out of the box.
