TCL’s sub-brand FFALCON has announced a new 5G mid-range phone in the Chinese market known as the FFALCON FF1. This device will take on other notable smartphones within the same segment like the OPPO Reno6 5G.
The TCL FFALCON FF1 sports a 6.67” LCD display that boasts a FHD+ screen resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, DCI-P3 wide color gamut covertage, as well as a 16 megapixels front-facing camera housed within a pill-shape cutout on the upper-left corner of the screen.
Over at the back, the phone comes with a humongous square-shape camera island which houses a triple-cam setup that includes a 64 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide units, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera.
At the helm, the TCL FFALCON FF1 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 690 chipset which is paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB onboard storage in the memory department.
The phone draws power from a 4,300mAh battery which carries support for a blazing-fast 66W wired-charging. Other than that, it also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and is shipped with Android 11 OS out of the box.
For those who’re interested, the TCL FFALCON FF1 is available in both Black and Green colorways. It’s priced at 2,499 Yuan (US$386) and 2,799 Yuan (US$432) respectively for it’s 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants.
