Chinese consumer electronics giant TCL has announced a new budget-friendly tablet known as the TCL TAB 10 Lite in the South American markets where the slate commands an affordable launch price of around US$165.
The TCL TAB 10 Lite builds around a 10” IPS LCD display that offers a modest 800 x 1,200 pixels screen resolution topped with 60Hz refresh rate. Other than that, it also has a 2 megapixels camera on both the front and rear side of the tablet.
Under the hood, the TCL TAB 10 Lite is powered by an quad-core MediaTek MT8167B chipset which has a maximum clock speed of 1.3GHz. This will be paired with 1GB RAM and 16GB built-in storage which can be further expanded by up to 128GB via a microSD card.
Keeping it’s lights on is none other than a 4,080mAh battery which doesn’t appears to feature any form of fast-charging support. Interestingly, the slate is shipped with a slightly older Android 10 OS out of the box.
