Tecno Mobile has officially announced it’s new flagship model dubbed as the Tecno Camon 18 Premier that comes with some impressive camera features including a Gimbal-style stabilization system which we previously saw from the Vivo X70 Pro and X70 Pro+ duo.
Starting with the front, the Tecno Camon 18 Premier arrives with a 6.7” AMOLED display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution, super smooth 120Hz refresh rate, as well as a 550 nits peak brightness. On top of that, it also has a pretty capable 32 megapixels front-facing camera for selfie and video calling purposes.
On the rear side of the phone, it sports a rectangular-shaped camera island which is home to a triple-camera system lead by a 64 megapixels main camera. This will be assisted by a 12 megapixels ultra-wide unit with Gimbal-style stabilization system as well as an 8 megapixels periscope telephoto lens which is capable of achieving up to 60x Hyper Zoom.
Under the hood, the Tecno Camon 18 Premier is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G96 chipset which is coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage in the memory department. On the software-side, the phone will boot on it’s custom HiOS based on Android 11 out of the box.
To keep it’s lights on, the Tecno Camon 18 Premier relies on a respectable 4,750mAh battery that carries support for 33W fast-charging which is able to deliver a full charge in around an hour. Other than that, it’s also worth noting that the phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well as NFC support.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone in two different colorways including Polar Night and Vast Sky. However, the company has yet to announce the official pricing and availability of the Tecno Camon 18 Premier at the moment.
