Besides launching the Tecno Camon 18 Premier smartphone, Tecno has also announced a more affordable model known as the Tecno Camon 18P which comes with a rather similar design and specs as the former.
For starter, the Tecno Camon 8P features a 6.8” Dot-in display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 550 nits peak brightness, as well as a 16 megapixels front-facing camera housed within it’s central hole-punch cutout.
At the back of the phone, it’s rectangular camera island is home to a triple-cam setup comprising of a 48 megapixels main camera, 13 megapixels portrait lens, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor.
Just like the Tecno Camon 18 Premier, the phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G96 chipset which is coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage in the memory department.
To keep it’s lights on, the Tecno Camon 18P draws power from a massive 5,000 battery that carries support for 33W fast-charging. On the software side of things, the phone is shipped with HiOS 8.0 based on Android 11 out of the box.
For those who’re interested, the phone is available in three different colorways including Dusk Gray, Ceramic White and Iris purple. At the moment, Tecno has yet to announce the official pricing and availability of the phone.
