The Tecno Camon 18 series smartphones was first announced back in early October last month. This was soon followed by the launch of the budget-friendly Tecno Camon 18i during the same month.
Now, the company has add on yet another model to it’s portfolio known as the Tecno Camon 18T that’s targeted more towards the mid-range segment of the market which will take on some of the similarly-priced models from Vivo ”Y” and OPPO ”A” series smartphones.
For starter, the Tecno Camon 18T features a 6.8” IPS LCD display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate and a 20.5:9 tall aspect ratio. The headlining feature here however, lies in it’s 48 megapixels front-facing camera with dual flashlight to help with selfies in low-light environment.
At the back, the phone has a rectangular camera module which houses a triple-camera setup comprising of a 48 megapixels main camera, 2 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor. For biometric authentication, it opts for a side-mounted fingerprint scanner instead of a rear-mounted one.
Under the hood, the Tecno Camon 18T is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 chipset along with 4GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage which supports further expansion via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the Tecno Camon 18T is fitted with a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. On the software side of things, it’ll be shipped with HiOS based on Android 11 out of the box.
In the Pakistani market, the Tecno Camon 18T is priced at Rs. 28,999 (US$164) for it’s 4GB+128GB trim. It’ll be available in a trio of colors namely Iris purple, Dusk Gray and Ceramic White.
