Tecno is expected to soon announce the Phantom V Fold 2 and V Flip 2 foldable phones in different markets. However, given the initial teasers for Ghana last month, it seems likely that Ghana will be among the first markets to receive the phones. According to a report by SpillSomeBeans, the key specifications for both foldables have been leaked.

Leaked images released by the source reveal that the Phantom V Fold 2 will feature a 6.45-inch cover screen and a 7.85-inch inner foldable display, both AMOLED panels supporting 120Hz LTPO technology. Powered by the Dimensity 9000 Plus, the Phantom V Fold 2 will offer 12 GB of RAM, 12 GB of virtual RAM, and 512 GB of storage. It will house a 5,750mAh battery, the largest among foldable phones, surpassing the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro’s 5,700mAh battery.
The Phantom V Fold 2 will have a 32-megapixel front camera and a rear setup comprising a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens. The phone will support 70W wired and 15W wireless charging.
Additional features include a 5.8mm slim profile (unfolded state), Phantom V Pen support, 5G dual SIM, multi-functional NFC, Dolby Atmos dual speakers, and a layered fibre glass back. It will come in Karst Green and Rippling Blue shades. As per a previous leak, its 12GB+512GB edition will cost GHS 16,550 ($1,060).
The Tecno Phantom V Flip 2) will feature a 6.9-inch 120Hz LTPO foldable screen and a 3.64-inch cover display, larger than its predecessor’s external screen. It will have a 4,720mAh battery and support 70W charging. The leak does not mention the Dimensity 8050 chip, but we expect it to feature it.
The V Flip 2 will include a 32-megapixel front camera, a 50-megapixel main camera, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens. Its color options include Travertine Green and Moondust Grey, and it is likely to be priced at GHS 9,800 ($625) for the 8GB+256GB variant.
