Tecno has officially unwrapped the company’s first-ever premium smartphone known as the Tecno Phantom X that comes with some pretty exciting camera specs which we don’t see among any of the past Tecno smartphones.
The triple-camera setup on the rear side of the Tecno Phantom X is lead by a 50 megapixels (f/1.85 aperture) main camera which has a large sensor size of 1/1.3”. To improve the auto focus capability of the camera, there will also be laser autofocus and dual pixel autofocus systems to help in this aspect.
Coming to the other two auxiliary cameras, they include a 13 megapixels portrait lens with 50mm focal length, as well as a 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens that offers up to 120 degrees FoV. As for selfies, the phone also features a pair of 48 megapixels main shooter as well as an 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens upfront too.
Moving on, the Tecno Phantom X sports a 6.67” Super AMOLED curve display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. To sweeten the deal, there’s also a layer of Gorilla Glass 5 sitting atop the front display.
Under the hood, the Tecno Phantom X is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 chipset which is paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. To keep it’s lights on, the phone draws power from a enormous 4,700mAh battery with 33W fast-charging capable of fueling a flat battery up to 70% within a short span of just 30 minutes.
Sad to say, the official pricing and availability of the Tecno Phantom X have yet to be announced by the company.
