Chinese electronics giant Tecno has silently launched a brand new entry-level smartphone known as the Tecno Spark 8C in the Nigerian market, though the official pricing and availability of the phone has yet to be announced.
Starting with the front, the Tecno Spark 8C features a 6.6” IPS LCD display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution as well as a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. It also has an 8 megapixels front-facing camera that handles selfie and video call on the device.
Around the back of the phone, the Tecno Spark 8c comes with a square-shaped camera bump which houses a dual-cam setup lead by a 13 megapixels main camera along with an unspecified auxiliary camera.
Even though Tecno doesn’t reveal any information pertaining to it’s underlying processor, but it was widely speculated to be an octa-core Unisoc Tiger T606 processor which will be paired with up to 3GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the Tecno Spark 8C is backed by a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging speed. For those who’re interested, the phone is available in four different color options such as Turquoise Cyan, Magnet Black, Iris Purple and Diamond Grey.
