Over the past couple of weeks, we’d been hearing quite a fair bit about the upcoming Vivo S12 series which is slated to be launched by the end of the year. Ahead of it’s launch, an alleged marketing material of the Vivo S12 series was allegedly spotted with the design of the upcoming Vivo S12 in full glory.
If the marketing material is indeed genuine (and not some fan-made stuff), then we can well expect the Vivo S12 to retain a flat edge design similar to what we saw on the current Vivo S10 Pro. Likewise, it also keeps the same notched display to accommodate a pair of front-facing cameras which is rumored to be lead by a 50 megapixels shooter.
On the rear side however, we do see some redesign to it’s camera bump which now look comparatively wider. Also, the camera lenses are now arranged in a vertical column instead of a L-shaped arrangement like what we saw on it’s predecessor.
Although there isn’t much information pertaining to it’s rear camera system, but a reputable Chinese tech blogger did claimed that the Vivo S12 Pro would feature a 108 megapixels main camera without going into deeper details on the other two cameras.
Other than that, it was also recently confirmed that the Vivo S12 series smartphones will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. Much like the Vivo X70 smartphone, there’s a likelihood that the forthcoming devices could be adopting an optimized Dimensity 1200 chipset known as the Dimensity 1200-Vivo.
