Redmi has confirmed that the Turbo 5 Max will be unveiled this month in China. Speculations are rife that the brand may confirm its launch date in the coming week. Ahead of the launch, some AI-generated images of the Redmi Turbo 5 Max have surfaced online. While these images may not be accurate, they could be the first look at its design.
Redmi Turbo 5 Max design revealed

The new images show that the Redmi Turbo 5 Max will have a flat display with slim bezels and rounded corners on the front. On the back, it does not feature a vertical camera module like the previous generation. Instead, it has a horizontal dual-camera setup.
The Redmi Turbo 5 Max is expected to be accompanied by a more powerful model. However, it is unclear whether it will be called the Turbo 5 Pro Max or something else. Reports suggest that these devices will be powered by the Dimensity 8500 and Dimensity 9500s chipsets, respectively.

The Dimensity 8500 was first seen on the Honor Power 2, which recently debuted in China. On the other hand, the Dimensity 9500s is a new chipset, which is scheduled to launch on Jan. 15. The Turbo 5 series is expected to rival the OnePlus Turbo 6 lineup.
Reports suggest that the Redmi Turbo 5 Max series will have a flat OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The series is up to 9,000mAh battery with 100W charging support.
