Android Rumors Infinix Leaked News

Time Travel: Here’s First Look at Upcoming Infinix Phone with 60MP OIS Selfie Camera

On Oct. 5, Infinix will take off the covers of the Infinix Zero Ultra 5G. It will be the most advanced smartphone from the brand since it will come equipped with features like a 120Hz curved OLED display, 180W charging, and a 200-megapixel camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). A new report from GSMArena says that the company is working on a smartphone that is good for taking selfies.

The megapixel count for the front camera has significantly increased in the last two years. Motorola and Honor have launched phones with a 60-megapixel selfie camera. The new report reveals that Infinix is also planning to launch a 60-megapixel selfie-focused phone.

What sets the Infinix’s 60-megapixel front camera apart from other selfie-focused phones in the market is that it will come equipped with OIS for capturing stabilized videos and photos. The iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max are the only other phones to launch this year with an OIS-enabled front-facing camera.

The publication also released the first images of the alleged device and claimed that it was a Zero-series. However, there is no word on the actual marketing name of the device. The image shows that it has a punch-hole display with curved edges like the upcoming Zero Ultra 5G.

The report states that the phone shown in the leaked images is different from the Zero Ultra 5G, which is said to be equipped with a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The bottom edge of the device has a SIM slot, a microphone, a USB-C port, and a speaker grille. At the Oct. 5 launch event, it will be interesting to see if the company says anything about the mysterious selfie-focused Zero-series phone.
