Last year, Motorola announced the Moto X30 series smartphones in the Chinese market which will reportedly be launched in the global market under the Edge 30 series branding.
Although there still isn’t any words on the launch date of the Motorola Edge 30 series smartphones, but the official render of the forthcoming Edge 30 Pro has been leaked today, revealing the front and rear design of the phone in full glory.
As seen in the render, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro appears to share a rather similar design as the Moto X30 that was launched in the Chinese market. It comes with the same centered hole-punch display with minimal bezels along it’s edges.
However, unlike the Moto X30 that features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, it was noted that the upcoming Edge 30 Pro would arrive with an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication instead.
At the back, the phone retains the same oval-shaped camera housing which is home to a triple-camera setup and a flash unit. These cameras are expected to be the same 50MP+50MP+2MP combo which was also found on the Moto X30. Interestingly, Motorola appears to have relocated the position of the Motorola logo to the bottom-left corner of it’s backplate.
As for the rest of the specs, they are expected to remain unchanged from the Moto X30 smartphone. That means we are likely to be greeted by the same 6.7” FHD+ OLED display, 144Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, 60 megapixels selfie camera, 5,000mAh battery, as well as 68W fast wired charging.
