After launching the Motorola Moto G22 smartphone earlier this month, Motorola is reportedly prepping a new G series smartphone known as the Motorola Moto G 5G (2022) which is apparently targeted towards the mid-range segment of the market.
Thanks to famed leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer once again, we’re now able to get our first look at this upcoming smartphone via a series of CAD-based renderings which show off the front and rear design of the phone in full glory.
In terms of design, the Motorola Moto G 5G (2022) comes with a typical-looking centered hole-punch display flanked by minimal bezels along it’s edges. Although it was noted that the display would measures 6.6” diagonally, but no details were given about it’s resolution or refresh rate.
Over at the back, we’ll be greeted by a rectangular camera island which houses a triple-camera setup which is said to be lead by a 50 megapixels main camera that’s likely to be joined by an 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera along with a 2 megapixels auxiliary unit.
Under the hood, it was purported that the Moto G 5G (2022) would be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 750G chipset which is coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, it’s expected to feature a hefty 5,000mAh battery which comes with an unspecified charging speed. Finally, the phone is also likely to feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as Android 11 OS.
