OPPO had already confirmed that the company will be launching the next-generation’s Find series smartphones during the first-quarter of 2022. Speculations are rife that these devices will be launched under the Find X5 Pro moniker as the company is likely to skip the Find X4 branding since the digit ”4” is widely seen as inauspicious within the Chinese community.
Although we’re still quite some time away from it’s launch, but a series of CAD-based renderings of the higher-end OPPO Find X5 Pro had already made it’s way to the web thanks to notorious leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer (in partnership with Prepp).
Based on the renders, the upcoming OPPO Find X5 Pro appears to retains pretty much the same design upfront, donning a curved display that features a hole-punch cutout on the upper-left corner of the screen.
While this wasn’t confirmed by Steve, but the front display is said to be a 6.78” AMOLED display which supports a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Likewise, it also goes without saying that the phone will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
At the back, the phone appears to retain a similar unibody design for it’s rear camera module even though it’s obvious that it’s overall design had received a notable facelift this time round.
From what we saw on the renders, the OPPO Find X5 Pro appears to be flaunting a triple-camera setup which according to past reports, should include a pair of 50 megapixels cameras as well as a 13 megapixels telephoto lens.
Other than that, the OPPO Find X5 Pro is also expected to be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset along with an ample 12GB RAM in the memory department. Unlike the existing Find X3 series smartphones, the OPPO Find X4 Pro might also arrive with an upgraded 80W fast-charging support as well.
