While everyone is currently hyping on the upcoming Galaxy S22 series smartphones, it’s worth noting that Samsung is also prepping another exciting mid-ranger known as the Galaxy A53 5G.
Now, courtesy of well-accredited leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer, we’re able to get our first look at the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G via a series of CAD-based renderings which show off the front and rear design of the phone in full glory.
On the outside, the Galaxy A53 5G appears to share a close resemblance with the Galaxy A52 except for some minor differences. At the front, the device retains the same Infinity-O display which adopts a flat panel. Sad to say, there wasn’t any information pertaining to the display specs even though earlier reports suggest that the front display could supports up to 120Hz refresh rate.
Around the back of the phone, it has a rectangular camera bump which blends seamlessly onto the back panel. It’ll continue to feature four cameras at the back which should probably include a typical wide and ultra-wide cameras, as well as a pair of auxiliary cameras to help with portrait and close-up shots.
What’s interesting is that Samsung seems to have axed the 3.5mm headphone jack on the upcoming Galaxy A53 5G. That’s a feature that we normally see among Samsung’s mid-range models.
At the moment, there’s no words on the official launch date of the Galaxy A53 5G. However, it’s believed that the device will only arrive next year.
