A new report from 91Mobiles has claimed that Samsung is currently prepping a trio of tablets from the upcoming Galaxy Tab S8 series that include the likes of the vanilla Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+, as well as the top-of-the-line Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.
Now, famed leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer has collaborated with 91Mobiles to bring us our first look at the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra through a series of high-quality, CAD-based renderings.
The renders revealed that the forthcoming Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will arrive with some super slim bezels around it’s purported 14.6” display. Interestingly, the renders revealed that the tablet will be coming with a centered notch to accommodate it’s selfie camera. That’s definitely something new in the S-series slates.
Also, it was mentioned that the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra builds around an overall footprint measuring 325.8 x 207.9 x 5.4 mm. As such, we can expect the slate to be even slimmer than last year’s Galaxy Tab S7+, even though it’ll be slightly taller than the latter.
On the flipside, there isn’t exactly a huge change in design from last year’s models, except for the slightly adjusted placement of the magnetic strip for the S-Pen. Other than that, it retains the same pill-shaped camera module for it’s dual-camera setup.
If rumors are to be believed, then we can expect it’s 14.6” display to be a Super AMOLED panel that would offers a 2960 x 1848 pixels screen resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate.
