It has been around six months since Motorola announced the Moto G Stylus 5G smartphone and now, the company is said to be prepping a new Moto G Stylus series smartphone dubbed as the Moto G Stylus 2022 which is expected to break cover somewhere around June next year.
Although we’re probably still quite some time away from it’s official launch, but that wouldn’t stop us from having our first look at the phone’s design courtesy of famed leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer who’d published a series of CAD-based renderings (in partnership with Prepp).
Based on the high-quality renderings, the forthcoming Motorola Moto G Stylus 2022 appears to feature a centered hole-punch display which is said to measure around 6.81” diagonally. Sad to say, there’s no further information on the type of display panel utilized on the device, as well as it’s resolution and refresh rate.
On the rear side of the phone, it comes with a rectangular-shaped camera module which seems to be home to a triple-camera setup that’s said to be lead by a 48 megapixels main camera. Likewise, there’s also a LED flash to assist with low-light photography too.
Even though most of the entry-level/ mid-range Motorola smartphones tend to feature a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, but the Moto G Stylus 2022 seems to adopt a side-mounted one instead. However, it’ll still retains the signature Motorola logo at the back.
Under the hood, the Moto G Stylus 2022 is speculated to be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 480+ chipset which might sounds a bit strange considering that the Moto G Stylus 2021 is powered by a slightly more power Snapdragon 678G processor.
Other than that, it might also come with a 4,500mAh battery capacity as well as a modest 6GB+128GB memory combo under the hood.
