Earlier this year, Vivo impressed us with it’s super sleek and stylish V21 series smartphones which had gained much fanfare in the Asian markets. Now, it appears that the company is currently prepping up for it’s next-generation’s V23 series smartphone launch after an unboxing video of the upcoming Vivo V23e was spotted on YouTube which had since been taken down.
As seen from the screenshots taken on the unboxing videos, the Vivo V23e is expected to feature a flat display upfront that comes with a waterdrop-notch, just like the existing Vivo V21e. However, it was mentioned that the front-facing camera will be upgraded from a 44 megapixels sensor to a 50 megapixels imaging sensor instead.
On the rear side, it’s also obvious that the camera module had been given a facelift this time round. Nonetheless, it’s still a triple-cam setup with the standard 64 megapixels wide camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera for close-up photography.
Sadly, there’s no mention of the underlying chipset on the Vivo V23e even though it was revealed that the device attains an overall score of 279,472 points on AnTuTu benchmark.
To keep it’s lights on, the phone is backed by a respectable 4,030mAh battery with 44W fast-charging support. It’ll also be shipped with FunTouchOS 12 based on Android 11 out of the box.
