Vivo will be launching the much anticipated Vivo V23 series smartphones later today. However, that might not be the only smartphone launch from Vivo this month as the company is allegedly prepping another entry-level smartphone known as the Vivo Y01 according to a new report.
To substantiate it’s claim, the same report also published a pair of official-looking renders which revealed the front and rear design of the phone in full glory. Just like any other entry-level models, the Vivo Y01 appears to feature a waterdrop-notch display upfront which is claimed to be a 6.51” IPS LCD display with HD+ screen resolution and 60Hz refresh rate..
On the flipside, the phone sports a square-shaped camera housing which is home to a 13 megapixels main camera as well as a LED flash to help with low-light photography. This will be rounded out by a 5 megapixels front-facing shooter for selfie and video calls.
Sad to say, there isn’t any words on it’s underlying chipset but it did mentioned that the phone would feature 3GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage in the memory department. Likewise, the phone is also said to house a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging speed.
On the software side of things, the Vivo Y01 is expected to run on FuntouchOS 11.1 based on Android 11 (Go Edition) right off the box. It’ll be available in both Black and Blue color options, and is likely to be priced between EUR100 to EUR200 in the European region.
