Update: Vivo has officially confirmed on the imminent launch of the V27 series smartphones on it’s social media platforms.
Original story continues…
Following the success of last year’s Vivo V25 series smartphones, Vivo is now reportedly working on the next-generation’s V27 series smartphones which are slated to be announced during the first-quarter of the year.
Ahead of it’s launch, the rear design of the phone had apparently been leaked in what seems to be the official teaser of the device. The alleged teaser revealed that the V25 series smartphones will be arriving with a rectangular-shaped camera island which appears to house a triple-cam system along with a circular LED flash.
Likewise, the device is also depicted in two different colorways such as Blue and Black – with the former sporting a color-shifting rear design similar to what we seen on the Vivo V25 Pro 5G (Review).
Although the front design of the phone was revealed, but earlier reports had suggested that the V27 Pro 5G will be coming with a curve display while the V27 5G settles with the usual flat panel instead.
As far as hardware is concerned, the Vivo V27 Pro 5G is expected to be powered by the newly announced MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset according to details listed on Google Play Console. The V27 5G on the other hand, could be powered by the upcoming Dimensity 7200 chipset based on it’s recent Geekbench listing.
