The Reno 8T 4G and Reno 8T 5G phones are rumored to debut by the end of this month in multiple markets. The 5G model is said to be rebranded version of the OPPO A1 Pro 5G, which was announced in November last year in China. The rumor mill has revealed the specifications of the Reno 8T 4G in bits and pieces. However, a new leak, courtesy of tipster Evan Blass and Snoopy Tech, has revealed the design of the Reno 8T.
Starting from the front, the Reno 8T has a punch-hole display with a slightly thick bottom bezel. The right side of the device features a power button, whereas the left side has a SIM slot and a volume rocker. The absence of a side-facing fingerprint scanner indicates that it could feature an OLED screen and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Reports have claimed that the Reno 8T 4G will feature faux leather. The same can be seen on the rear side of the device in the leaked renders. The phone will arrive in black and orange colors. For photography, it has triple rear cameras arranged in two camera rings.
The OPPO Reno 8T has a microphone on the top. Its bottom features a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microphone, a USB-C port, and a speaker grille. It appears that the company has lodged another speaker in the earpiece placed above the front camera.
Reports have revealed that the Reno 8T 4G will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset and 8 GB of RAM. It is expected to arrive with support for 33W fast charging. The handset is expected to run on the ColorOS 13-based Android 13 OS.
