Samsung is reportedly working on the Galaxy A54 5G for different markets. Recently, the device was spotted on the 3C certification platform, which indicated that it may debut as early as January 2023. Well ahead of the launch, 91mobiles has teamed up with popular tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (Onleaks) to reveal the design of the Galaxy A54 5G through its CAD renderings.
The Galaxy A54 renders show that it will sport a punch-hole display on the front, and its back panel will house a vertical triple camera unit with LED flash. Unlike Samsung flagships that have super-slim bezels, the A54 can be seen with thick bezels in CAD renders.
The right edge of the device has a volume rocker and a power button. Its topside features a microphone and a SIM slot. Its bottom has a microphone, a USB-C port, and a speaker grille. The device appears to be equipped with an under-display fingerprint scanner.
The leak further states that the Galaxy A54 5G will have a 6.4-inch display, which appears to be an AMOLED panel. Like the Galaxy A53, its successor is expected to support an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset measures around 158.3 x 76.7 x 8.2mm.
Other reports have claimed that the Galaxy A54 5G will house a 5,000mAh battery. Its 3C certification revealed that it may support 25W charging. Its rear camera setup may comprise a 50-megapixel primary snapper. The other specifications of the device are yet to be revealed. Since it has already received 3C certification, it is expected to launch as early as January in China.
