Slightly more than a month ago, reputable leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer showed the world what could be the possible design of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra via a series of high-quality CAD-based renderings.
Now, his renderings have expectedly been validated by several real life images of the device which tech leaker Jon Prosser had published on his website Front Page Tech.
Just like what we’d seen earlier on, the leaked images revealed that the Galaxy S22 Ultra would be arriving with an Infinity-O display with slight curves along the left and right side of the screen.
Based on what we heard from past reports, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.8” dual-curve AMOLED display that offers high resolution and refresh rate. The overall dimension of the device is also said to measure around 163.2 x 77.9 x 8.9 mm.
On the flipside, the Galaxy S22 Ultra appears to feature what seems to be a LG Velvet-inspired ”Waterdrop” camera design which is home to a quad-camera system that reportedly includes a 108 megapixels wide camera, 12 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a pair of 10 megapixels telephoto cameras with 3x and 10x optical zoom.
Along the bottom edge of the phone, there’s an additional compartment to accommodate the S-Pen stylus like what we normally see among the Galaxy Note series smartphones of the past.
we can well expect the Galaxy S22 Ultra to be powered by either the next-generation’s Qualcomm Snapdragon or Samsung Exynos flagship chip depending on the market where the phone is sold.
