Shortly after releasing a series of CAD-based renderings that revealed the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra’s design in full entirety, famed leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer is now back with the renderings of the vanilla Galaxy S22 and S22+ to have a proper wrap up of his Galaxy S22 series leaks over the weekend.
As seen in the new batch of renders, the Galaxy S22 and S22+ appear to come with a more mainstream design as compared to what we saw on the Galaxy S22 Ultra, especially with it’s rather outlandish P-shaped camera module at the back of the phone.
In fact, the Galaxy S22 and S22+ do share a close resemblance to this year’s Galaxy S21 and S21+ as they sport the same Infinity-O display upfront with uniform bezels along all four sides of the screen.
Interestingly, report suggests that the Galaxy S22 would be featuring a slightly smaller 6” display this time round, while the Galaxy S22+ is said to settle with a standard 6.5” display. If that’s the case, the Galaxy S22 might well be Samsung’s most compact flagship in recent years.
On the flipside, we’re actually greeted by a pretty familiar vertically-aligned camera array that houses a trio of cameras – just like their predecessors. Similarly, the Galaxy S22+ also seem to feature the same contour cut camera bump on the rear side and appears to have inconspicuous differences with the current Galaxy S21.
What’s actually worth noting is that the Galaxy S22 and S22+ duo will be much thinner thanks to it’s impressive slim profile of just 7.6mm (excluding camera bump), which probably makes the phone looks even sleeker than before.
