Google had just announced the Google Pixel 6 series smartphones in Singapore last week. However, a new leak has revealed that the Mountain View-based company is already working on it’s successor dubbed as the Pixel 7 series.
Once again, courtesy of famed leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer (in partnership with SmartPrix), we’re now able to get our first look at the Google Pixel 7 Pro via a series of CAD-based renderings way ahead of it’s expected launch date.
The renders apparently showed off a familiar front design with a pair of beautiful curves along it’s edges as well as a centered hole-punch cutout for it’s selfie camera. While not officially confirmed, it was claimed that the front display will be a high refresh rate OLED panel that measures around 6.6” to 6.7” diagonally, just like the Pixel 6 Pro.
On the rear side, the Google Pixel 7 Pro also appears to retain the signature dual-tone color scheme and camera bar which we saw on it’s predecessor. What’s really different here is that the camera bar now blends seamlessly into the frame which kind of reminds us of the contour-cut design on Samsung’s Galaxy S22 series smartphones.
Speaking of the camera bar, it seems to be equipped with a triple-cam system which is touted to include a main camera, ultra-wide unit, as well as a periscope telephoto camera. Although the actual hardware details remain under wraps, but we can well expect to see some decent upgrades to it’s overall camera system, as with any other Pixel smartphones.
Sad to say, there weren’t any other details pertaining to it’s specs as well, but we’ll probably get to learn more about them in the upcoming months leading to it’s launch.
