Last week, we’d heard about the existence of the Honor X40 GT smartphone which had been tipped to launch in November next month. Now, a well-known leaker has apparently posted a render of what seems to be the upcoming Honor X40 GT on Chinese microblogging platform Weibo.
The render revealed that the X40 GT will retain a rather similar design as the Honor X40 with a familiar-looking circular camera housing on the rear side. The key differences lie in the arrangement of the camera lenses and the flash housing, as well as some additional aesthetics that make the phone looks more like a gaming-centric smartphone.
Although there were reports suggesting that the Honor X40 GT could be the first smartphone in the market to arrive with the new Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, but the leaker seems to suggest that the phone would be powered by a Snapdragon 888 chipset instead.
As for the rest of the specs, earlier reports had also claimed that the phone may be coming with a 120Hz display as well as a large 6,000mAh battery that carries support for 66W fast wired charging. That being said, do take these information with a pinch of salt until the official launch.
