Xiaomi is expected to announce the Xiaomi 12 Ultra in July in China. The device may be released in global markets in quick succession. The design of the 12 Ultra has surfaced through renders and case images in the past. However, a new leak has revealed what appears to be the final design of the upcoming premium flagship phone from Xiaomi.
Xiaomi 12 Ultra Renders, Specifications (Rumored)
Publication Zouton has collaborated with reputed tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer to share the renders of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra. Starting from the front, the Xiaomi flagship can be seen flaunting a curved edge display with a punch-hole. It seems that the screen is not as big as the Xiaomi 12 Pro’s 6.73-inch AMOLED panel or the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra’s 6.81-inch AMOLED display.
The reason behind it is that the 12 Ultra measuring around 161.9 x 74.3 x 9.5mm is shorter than the Xiaomi 12 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra. The leak claims that it has a 6.6-inch screen. In addition, it is a thicker device, which indicates that it could house a 5,000mAh battery. Reports have revealed that it may carry support for 120W fast charging.
The upper 1/3rd portion of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra’s rear panel has a round-shaped camera system. It consists of at least four cameras and three sensors. Next to the camera module is the Leica branding.
Reports have claimed that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra camera system will consist of an OIS-assisted 50-megapixel main camera, a 48-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 48-megapixel periscope zoom lens, and a 16-megapixel portrait camera. The recently announced Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset is likely to t power the Xiaomi 12 Ultra. According to other rumors, the smartphone will be available in ceramic and leather finishes.
