Time Travel: Xiaomi 14 Pro CAD renders emerge to kill suspense around its design

Xiaomi is expected to announce the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro on Oct. 27 in the Chinese market. Ahead of the rumored launch, 91mobiles has sourced the CAD renders of the Pro model from prominent tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer.

As per the leak, the Xiaomi 14 Pro’s dimensions measure 161.6 x 75.3 x 8.7 mm and it houses a 6.6-inch display. The AMOLED panel is not only slightly smaller than the 6.73-inch curved-edge screen of the Xiaomi 13 Pro, but it also has a flat design. The CAD renders are in line with the leaked schematic of the device, which surfaced in July.

The square camera module on the backside of the Xiaomi 14 Pro seems to feature four cameras, which contradicts recent leaks that claim that it has three 50-megapixel cameras on the back. The report has no information on the other specs of the device. However, the rumor mill has claimed that the device will feature up to 24 GB of RAM, up to 1 TB of storage, and a 4,860mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging support.

Under the hood, the Xiaomi 14 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 flagship chipset, which is said to debut later this month through Qualcomm’s 2023 Snapdragon Summit, which will be held between Oct. 24 and 26.

There is a possibility that there could be a premium version of the Xiaomi 14 Pro featuring a quad-curved AMOLED display and titanium alloy frame. This variant may come with support for two-way satellite communication. The overall design of this special variant as well as the Xiaomi 14 will likely be very similar to the Xiaomi 14 Pro. To say more, the Xiaomi 14 could arrive as a compact version of the 14 Pro.
