Upcoming Honor phone to feature Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 to pack 7800mAh battery

Honor is reportedly working on multiple devices for the Chinese market. In June, the brand will unveil its next-generation foldables, namely the Magic V4 and Magic V2 Flip. Before launching the foldables, the brand is expected to announce the Honor 400 lineup and the Honor GT Pro. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station released a Weibo post revealing what appears to be details about a forthcoming Honor 400 series phone.

As per the leak, an upcoming mid-range Honor phone will feature the forthcoming Snapdragon SM7550 chip, which is said to have the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 marketing name. It will have an LTPS screen that offers a 1.5K resolution. It could probably be the Honor 400 Pro, which is expected to pack a 6.78-inch quad-curved screen as per a previous leak by the same source.

What’s astonishing about this phone is that it is said to pack a 7,800mAh battery. This means it could be the largest battery phone from a mainstream brand.

DCS has clarified in the comments section that this phone is not the Honor 400, as the latter is a slim and lightweight compact phone focused on photography. Nevertheless, it still appears to be an Honor 400 series phone, which could be positioned lower than the Honor 400.

The Honor 300 series included multiple models, such as the Honor 300, 300 Pro, and 300 Ultra. Therefore, there’s a possibility that the 400 lineup may include successor versions for the 300 models.
