Last night, we saw a pair alleged renders showing off the rear and side view of the upcoming Huawei MediaPad tablet.
Right now, Huawei has officially revealed the design for both its 8.4″ and 10.7″ models – showing off a sleek looking design with minimal bezels along the edges. For its 8.4″ model, it seems like the physical Home button has been ditched and is replaced with a Huawei logo – similar to what we’d seen earlier on. The 10.7″ model on the other hand, will retain its physical Home button.
Another obvious thing to note is the new White color option introduced for the MediaPad M6 series which in our opinion, looks far better than the current Space Gray and Champagne Gold we’d seen on the MediaPad M5. Aside from a refreshed design, the upcoming tablets will also come with some upgrades under the hood including a new Kirin 980 SoC.
The new MediaPad M6 series will be announced alongside the Huawei Nova 5 series (comprising of Huawei Nova 5i, Nova 5 and Nova 5 Pro) on June 21st later this week.
