Upcoming OnePlus 5T pops up on Geekbench

Recently, we’d been flooded by news on the upcoming OnePlus 5T which has been slated to be officially announced in New York next week. For the past few weeks, we’d heard quite a lot on the device’s alleged design which will reportedly be coming with a near bezel-less display similar to most current flagship models like the Galaxy S8.

Today, we’re finally being treated with some details on the possible specs that the OnePlus 5T could be featuring courtesy to a Geekbench listing of the handset. According to the listing, the OnePlus 5T with model number A5010 will be powered by the renowned Snapdragon 835 SoC and will house 8GB worth of RAM under its memory compartment. Software-wise, the device will runs on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box, but will definitely be able to be updated to the latest Android Oreo in the near future.

Although the specs we’d seen from this listing doesn’t differs from the current OnePlus 5, but the company’s CEO Liu Zuohu had hinted on his Weibo post that the new OnePlus 5T will be coming with an improved dual-camera this time round. Other than that, we believes that the main differences between the two units will lie very much on their design aspects instead.
