The OPPO K5 is set to make it’s official debut on October 10th, alongside the feverishly-anticipated OPPO Reno Ace.
To spice things out a little, OPPO has released a promotional poster of the device which revealed some it’s key specs. However, a bulk of it is similar to what we’d already learned from it’s official TENAA listing last month.
For starter, the OPPO K5 will be driven by an octa-core Snapdragon 730G SoC. In fact, this SoC is a specially optimize version of the Snapdragon 730 SoC, tailored for mobile gaming. This will be coupled with a hefty 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage in the memory compartment. Although these specs are already considered pretty good for mobile gaming, but OPPO took a step further by enhancing the device with Game Boost 2.0 to ensure an even smoother gaming experience for it’s users.
Within it’s quad-camera setup, there will be a 64 megapixels main snapper. Although OPPO did not reveal the specs for the other sensors, but it’s TENAA listing had already confirmed them to be an 8 megapixels secondary sensor as well as a pair of 2 megapixels sensors. On it’s front panel, the waterdrop notch will house a 32 megapixels selfie camera as well.
It’s 3,920mAh battery will be able to support the company’s latest 30W VOOC 4.0 Flash Charge which is capable of fueling the device from 0 to 100% in just 73 minutes.
That’s not all, the OPPO K5 will also feature the newly announced Dual Wi-Fi feature which allows the device to connect to two Wi-Fi network simultaneously. This ensures better bandwidth and stability for it’s Wi-Fi connectivity. Unsurprisingly, the OPPO K5 will also come with NFC support so that users can use services like OPPO Pay with the device.
