In case you’d missed out, the POCO M2 Pro will be POCO’s upcoming mid-ranger smartphone which had been scheduled for a July 7th launch date. Based on its preliminary specs, it is likely that the device will be a rebranded model of the Redmi Note 9 Pro (Global version) which was announced in Europe last month.
On Geekbench, the POCO M2 Pro had achieved a score of 554 points and 1,757 points respectively for its single-core and multi-cores performance tests. The device is expected to feature a 6.67-inches FHD+ LCD display which will be accompanied by a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
In the imaging department, the POCO M2 Pro is likely to feature a quad-cameras system comprising of a 64 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 5 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor. This will be completed by a 16 megapixels selfie camera at the front.
The Snapdragon 720G SoC will sit at the heart of the device alongside 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB onboard storage. As usual, the storage capacity could be further expanded via a microSD card. The device draws power from a massive 5,020mAh battery with 30W fast-charging capability.
